1974 Cadillac Coupe De Ville, 19,647 original miles, Red with White interior, power seats, locks, and windows, documented ownership since new, very nice condition.

This is an original 1974 Cadillac Coupe De Ville with only 19,647 miles in very good condition having recently come out of a private collection. It was sold new to a Mr. Gustave Mause on March 26, 1974 by Hoyle Cadillac, Inc. of Delray Beach, Florida. Mr. Mause drove the car up until his passing in 1991 at which time the car had 7400 miles on it. His wife sold the car in 1996 to the next owner in Florida. In 1999 under the third owner it came to Michigan where it was driven sparingly - evidenced by the good condition of the underside of the car. Finally, in 2003 it was sold to its current owner, a local collector, who also took excellent care of the car and stored it properly in a climate controlled environment.

The condition of this Coupe De Ville is very nice. The paint is original and excellent, except for some touch up on the driver’s door. There is a little checking near the door handles and a few small chips near the front, however, the body panels are original with consistent paint depth at all points and there is no rust. The underside of the car is incredible with a bit of surface ‘browning’ but no scaling or rust issues. The interior is in very good condition. The original leather front seats have wrinkles and a little wear, however, there are no rips or tears and for their age they are wonderful. The rear seat is almost as-new. The red carpet is excellent, as is the kick panel pocket just inside the passenger foot-well - a high wear point that is in almost new condition.

Driving the Cadillac is a joy. It starts right up and goes down the road as it should comfortably and quietly. All power options of note work, seats, windows, locks, radio, etc. with the only exception being the power antenna. All of the lights function properly. This is a great opportunity to own a well cared for, low mileage example of a classic Cadillac in a stunning color combination.
