Price Reduced: Gray over Red with a White top, matching gray parade boot, 64,375 miles, 2 owners, stored winters.
This 1976 Eldorado Convertible was sold new by Samson Cadillac in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The original owner drove it sparingly, accumulating 59,000 miles in 25 years of ownership. It was then purchased as a birthday present for the second owner who has added 5,375 miles in the last 9 years of driving. The car is finished in a unique shade of grey which is complimented by a red leather interior, and is capped off with a white convertible top with matching gray parade boot. It has been serviced as needed and garaged when not driven. The interior is in very good shape with no rips or tears and only some mild fading on certain carpeted surfaces. The engine starts right up and runs well, and the drive is typical Cadillac. The paint isn’t perfect but is very presentable, as is the rest of the car. The 1976 owner’s manual is present.
The Eldorado marked the end of the Excessive-sheet-metal era of Detroit car building with emissions controls and the oil embargo ushering in its demise. It is the last of the big convertibles and is a sight to behold.
