SOLD: 1967 Chevrolet C10

SOLD: 1967 Chevrolet C10

This truck was delivered new on October 3rd 1966 at Fairway Chevrolet & Olds in Park Falls, WI to the gentleman who would drive it for the rest of his life, plying his trade at the paper mill and his small farm in Wisconsin. After the passing of the original owner and spending a short time in storage, his grandson and son-in-law (a noted restorer in his own right) spent an enormous amount of time and money bringing the truck back to as-new or better condition.

Some of the noted details are as follows; the hood, frame, cab and interior are original. The box and bed are new, the bumpers are new reproductions in chrome, the engine block is from a ‘69 as the ‘67 block was found to be cracked at the time of rebuild, but has new pistons, bearings and all of the ‘67 equipment (including the rebuilt head) on it from the original engine. The underside of the truck is as clean as the top side with all wear items, nuts and bolts, NOS trailing arms, and anything that couldn’t be refinished to a high standard being replaced as well.

It is quite a sight to behold. Never have we seen such attention to detail given to such a normal, no-option truck (or car for that matter). What transpired has been a labor of love.
This C-10 is finished in it’s original green color with a matching interior. It is a no-options truck with a 3-on-the-tree manual transmission. It shows extremely well and has been driven sparingly since completion 4 years ago.
