SOLD: 1970 Mustang Convertible

A very nice, enthusiast-restored 1970 Mustang convertible.

The car originally was a gold, 60,000 mile convertible sourced from Colorado.  It was totally disassembled and restored to a high standard in 2006, with the only differences to originality being a new high performance engine and red paint.

The engine is a Ford crate 302 with 345 hp and is mated to a performance C4 automatic transmission.

The car retains its original sheet metal and interior, with new seat-covers being the only interior update. It was delivered originally with air conditioning, which was removed during restoration, but still retains the interior vents and switchgear should the new owner wish to reinstall it.

The body panels have been correctly fitted with no door sag or ‘off’ lines.  At the time of restoration, subframe connectors were installed to handle chassis flex due to the added horsepower.

The underside of the car is as clean and complete as the rest of the car.

It is sorted, runs very well, and has only a few hundred miles since completion.
