SOLD: 1972 Jeep Commando

This is a very nice, three-owner Jeep Commando in excellent condition with 67,811 miles.  Metallic blue with blue interior, it is equipped as new with a 304 cid V8 and automatic transmission, as well as a newer top and custom tonneau cover (for protecting the interior while the top is off).  It shows very well having undergone a selective restoration a few years ago and is clean throughout.  It has been well cared for and serviced with little regard for cost. 

The finish is excellent, the paint is clean and lays flat, and there are no nicks or scratches. The engine compartment shows “as-new” just like the body.  The underside of the Jeep is still in excellent, original condition with extra attention being paid recently to the suspension.

Driving the Jeep reminds you of what fun is all about.  It starts immediately, turns on a dime, and has enough power to get its minimal mass moving quickly.  It is a top-down, open-air cruiser that is enjoyable on the local roads, dunes or trails, in the country or the city. An aftermarket stereo has been added tastefully in an under-the-dash housing.

It has only been enjoyed on nice days during the summer months and stored in a climate-controlled environment when not being used.
