SOLD: 1993 Mercedes Benz 500E

This is an excellent, one-family owned, 1993 Mercedes Benz 500E finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic paint over Alpaca Grey leather with 79,863 miles. It was purchased new in November 1992 and spent life initially in Florida before coming to Michigan to reside with the original owner’s son in 2005. It has been well cared for and serviced as needed (all records since new) with little regard for cost. It retains the new Mercedes smell and feel, and shows little wear. The car has been stored winters since arriving in Michigan. It has all options available including the Mercedes integrated phone and 10-disc CD changer.
Inside, the interior shows and smells as it did when it was new. There are no tears or wear in the Alpaca Grey leather save for a small scuff on the driver’s side bolster. The standard heated Recaro seats are firm and supportive as designed. The doors shut with a solid Mercedes feel and sound. Great care and attention to detail was exercised during the ownership of this “Uber-Benz” and it shows throughout.
The silver exterior paint is in excellent condition. The front end of the car has a few stone chips as expected, with the majority located near the bottom of the front skirt. The rest of the body is pristine and it is evident that the paint is well cared for.
The car runs and drives as new. So well in fact, that this car is the actual example used and written about in the March 2008 issue of Automobile Magazine.
