This Saleen S281 Extreme was ordered new by Fox Ford here in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a showroom display and marketing tool for the Saleen product line. It originally listed for $91,873. To highlight some of the key features, this S281 was ordered with the 20” Chrome Wheels (at $1,314), the Scenic Roof (at $3,999) and Extreme Rainbow Paint (at $16,000!) making it one of the best optioned examples around and 1 of 4 completed in this configuration for 2006. After showroom duty, it was sold in Sept of 2006 with a mere 51 miles to the present owner, a local collector and Mustang enthusiast.
It has only been enjoyed on nice days and is still in as-new condition, having only covered 527 miles since new. This S281 Extreme is being made available at a significant savings to its near $100K original list price.
